Principal Electric Company introduces a new product line: cam-controlled packet switches manufactured by Opas (Turkey). Opas began operations in 1982 in Istanbul. For 40 years, it has offered innovative solutions to the cam switch market and has successfully exported its products to 20 countries.
Cam switches are designed for:
- control of mechanisms driven by three-phase and single-phase motors, by changing the connection of the AC motor windings (star-delta), changing the direction of rotation;
- control and signaling in operating circuits;
- ensure switching of operating modes of heating devices;
- switching on and off the operation of sectional switches in transformer stations.
Our new range of rotary switches offers a wide range of connections for different numbers of poles and different current ratings.
You can choose a switch based on its purpose and the technical characteristics of the circuit.
For example, to turn the load on and off on the line, select the "0-1" scheme, and to switch to a parallel line (reverse load, backup source) - "1-2" or "1-0-2". To switch between different operating modes of the device (normal speed, heating temperature) you will need the "0-1-2-3" scheme. Additionally, you can choose a special switch for a voltmeter or ammeter, or a star/delta switch.
